Father God, our days are so new and unknown

Father God, I love you and I thank you for being my God. How spoiled I am to talk to you right now and to know that you are hearing my words, listening to my prayer and holding my heart.

I could write a book of words before you and you would sit with interest the whole time. I could pour a bucket of tears before you and you would treasure each drop, storing them in a bottle. I could sit with you not uttering a single syllable and you, O my God, would understand the depth of my silence.

Father God, I do love you and thank you for being my God.

May I enter your presence hand in hand with my sisters?

May we gather our words, tears and silence and cast them before You?

Will you hold us?

Father God, our days are weird. Each day feels so new, unknown, and unsettled. Our emotions are rollercoastering (for sure my word) with each new announcement, closure, statistic, and regulation.

Lord, we are so accustomed to doing life together and now we are advised to separate ourselves from each other. This is the reality that crushes my heart the most. I think of the women I engage with every Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, and for spontaneous coffee dates throughout each week.

I think of the prayer requests that are shared and prayed over while we are united together. I think of the tears that are held. I think of the laughter that spreads. I think of the rejuvenating breath that occurs for women as they pause in one another’s presence. I think of the joy that spills from Your Scripture and the giggles that erupt from inevitable rabbit trails.

Father God, you gifted us with girlfriends and sisters in Christ. Being socially separated from each other is going to open doors for discouragement, defeat, and depression. Oh God, I pray You will shut those doors! Lord, that they will not even crack open. I pray Your mighty hand will separate Your daughters from any tactic of the devil. Fight for each of Your daughters during these days.

Lord, You promise that Your Word will be evident in our hearts and minds.

~ I pray your grace will abound. (2 Corinthians 9:8)

~ I pray your peace will surpass. (Philippians 4:7)

~ I pray your happiness will overcome. (Psalm 144:15)

~ I pray we will not feel alone for You are ever present for you are our God. (Psalm 46:1)

Father God, we love you and we thank you for being our God.

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. – Hebrews 4:16

Simple Prayer for Moms

Father God, Unify My House

What Are You Waiting For?

Praise for Presents ;) turned Prayer for Children

Jesus, two little phrases keep circling my heart and mind. Almost to the point that I can’t hold a conversation that does not involve these two little phrases. I wonder at what point will I grow up?

I love Jesus!

I love presents!

Ohmygoodness. They are running marathons all around me. Not in competition, mind you, but they are certainly demanding all my mental and emotional space.

It’s crazy really. I partly wish I could say that I am mature and that my “i love presents” is about giving them to others, but Lord, you know my truth. Lol!

Father, my son just came downstairs with a high fever. Amazing how quickly our kid’s health can silence our inner giggles. Well, set it aside at the very least. I’m still sitting here smiling… πŸ˜‰

With all seriousness, Father, there are moms all over this Valley playing nurse to their sick children. Many of my friends have shared prayer requests for a child and/or children. Father, please bestow grace upon each mom. I pray health for her as she tends to the kids. I also pray the illness will not spread to any other family member.

God, seeing our kids sick is heartbreaking every time. Ugh. I hate it. Father, please heal these little humans you have graciously given us to love, protect, train, and throughly enjoy!

We love these little humans. Thank you for each and very one of them!

Talk about gifts! Oh, is there a sweeter gift than the gift of a child?!??

Lord Jesus Christ, thank you for being The sweetest of all gifts. Thank you for willingly taking on the form of humanity. Thank you for being the baby prophesied of old offering the gift of eternity to all who believe in you.

Jesus. Yes, I love you Jesus!

My Gift From God

Answered Prayers From The Christmas Event in Vale Oregon

There were many prayer requests shared on Facebook for last Sunday’s “The King Has Come” Christmas event in Vale, Oregon.

Consider this a special Thank You for your prayers!!

We prayed for no snow as my Entourage of six Amazing Friends drove the hour distance with me, there and back. Friends, there was NO snow. In fact, the sun was shining ever so beautifully the entire drive there, and the moon shone radiantly as it directed us home. Well, GPS did the directing, but the moon was much more Lovely!!

We prayed for the Spirit to fill His house, to touch our hearts, to speak His truth.

Oh! How He answered ever so sweetly.

The house was beaming with the kindest of women who filled the gym with laughter.

Cups were filled to the brim! Tri-tip beckoned our names. Dishes made with love filled us with joy. And desserts . . . I’m still trying to remember what was said about graham crackers and layered chocolate chips and butter. . .

And the Lord proved faithful as He touched our hearts and spoke His truth regardless as to what the speaker/I had intended to say. He does that, doesn’t He. His words win every time! For, His words are the words that can soothe our souls, fill our empty spaces, and heal our broken hearts.

Lastly, may I be open about my inner giggle for a moment?!

It’s been a few years since I have had the opportunity to engage as an author and speaker. These last few years have been about my family. Nothing big. Nothing major. Just needful. Like we all tend to say as we look back at passing seasons of life, “I wouldn’t have changed a thing.”

Over these past few years, my book has sold steadily on Amazon. It’s been studied at churches and coffeeshops from the Pacific Northwest to Canada. And I have been teaching His Truth weekly throughout the years.

But. Seeing The Beautiful Reward displayed by dear friends for His Glory made my heart skip a beat. I just wanted to sit there and look at it. I just wanted to drop to my knees and take a moment. I just wanted to cry and laugh and . . . and Twirl. πŸ˜‰

I didn’t.

I was reserved.

Right here with you, may I verbally twirl and just say Thank You. Thank you for joining me in prayer. Thank you for giggling with me today. And Thank you for being my readers, my friends.

Jaclyn

A special thanks list…

To Grace for drawing such beautiful artwork of our Precious Savior!

To Jessica and Sherry and Lisa and Jenn and Rhiannon for driving up, setting up the display, for selling books, for mic proofing, for photos, for prayer, for worship, for support, for laughter and for being the most fabulous entourage a girl could ask for! πŸ˜‰

To Karen and Clair for loving our Lord, for having a vision, for making it happen, for serving with a smile and praying with tears of admiration for The King who has come.

To Julionna for singing the most breath-taking song. Your voice and talent drew me closer to Jesus. FYI… I want backstage passes for your next concert, please. πŸ˜‰ β™₯️
