And, Lord, quiet my heart that I might behold the pleasant truth of your words over me.

Jesus, you are good and miraculous in all your ways. You are everlasting in all your love. You are truly divine, and you choose to be present with us in our space and surrounded in our reality.

Jesus, you are good.

How you do that, how you set my heart on fire at the mention of your name, how you cause my breath to slow at the knowledge of your presence, how you love me, Jesus, I’ll never comprehend.

Wrapped in your love, I pray, I will never take it for granted. Lord, your Robe around me is my identity. Again, this Truth is too big to comprehend.

Jesus, you are good.

In the newness of this day, this week, I desire to walk with you. That your Truth will be my words spoken to the hearts that surround my every day. That your Love be the action I purpose to achieve within my home, for the benefit of others and in kindness to myself.

With the sweetest smile on my face, I thank you, Jesus, for being the desire on my heart. Thank you for clothing me in Your Righteousness that I may be fully accepted in the eyes of God our Father. Oh, Father God, thank you for sending your Son to be our Savior! What a heart wrenching sacrifice.
