Jesus & Me Today

Women Inseparable kickstarted a new study called Jesus & Me Today. Today, we invite You to join this powerful Jesus & Me Today series.

Below is a note from Women Inseparable’s Outreach Team…

Jesus tells us that He is coming again! We hear His words and cling to His promise. The question, however, remains, “What am I to do Today as I wait for Tomorrow?” Our personal goal will be to evaluate what that looks like as we are/where we are. This study is yours and we encourage you to make it personal.

Join us from the comfort of your home, during your lunch break, or while you walk the dog! ❤️

Women Inseparable Online ladies will receive an email each week (usually on Friday) containing links to the weekly video and podcast. You choose which you like to use best!

The video will be on Rumble.com. Easily subscribe to our Women Inseparable channel for instant notifications.

The podcast can be found on Acast, Apple, and iHeart. Subscribe to get instant notifications of new episodes.

Intro Lesson: What is Women Inseparable & The foundation of Jesus & Me Today!

Lesson One: Today is the Day

What is the Connection in Prayer?

Many of us wonder what the connection is between us and prayer and God and Christ Jesus. We wonder why and how God uses our prayer for the benefit of others. We truly desire to know how prayer is all connected.

Understanding the connection of prayer always begins with knowing Jesus and knowing that prayer begins in and through His precious death and resurrection.

Next to knowing Jesus, it is so important to know your position.

When we know that we are seated at the right hand of the Throne of God, the intimidation to pray or pressure to pray “better” gets washed over with the desire to have a conversation with God.

“But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ— by grace you have been saved— and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:4-6‬ ‭ESV‬‬

In Christ, we are seated beside God. Present tense. Sit quietly with that truth. Selah.

My prayer is that we will grasp the depth of this gift from God. I pray that when we pray (whether on our knees or on our way) that we will see ourselves in our positioned seat beside God Almighty.

  • He is sitting there beside you.
  • He feels the emotions coarsing through you.
  • He sees the posture that is overtaking your body.
  • He hears the quietness of your breathe, your sigh, your cry, your smile, your existence.
God calls us friend. He seats us {always} beside Him. May we have a sweet and sincere conversation with Him there.
  • May we feel His arm around us as we sit in conversation with Him.
  • May we feel His emotions for us as we sit beside Him.
  • May we see His posture as we sit beside Him.
  • May we hear His breathe, His understanding, His Love, His joy, His existence.

Do you see this? Do you understand the depth of this simplicity? Your part in prayer matters. Your prayer life matters. Are you willing to grasp the beautiful power in this truth? My prayer is that we will all see and fully grasp this sweet gift of pure conversation with our God.

Walking together in prayer & truth,

Jaclyn

Let’s Pray for Connection

Dear Father,

I pray you will guide my eyes to the connection that matters. Father, there are so many distractions. So many connections that tug at my heart causing my thoughts to sway from what matters above all else.

Lord, I pray you will guard my ears from hearing, my eyes from seeing, my thoughts from wandering, my heart from desiring, and (quite frankly) my American blood from boiling. How easy it is to seek connection to that which is familiar, safe, expected, “normal”…

Yet, Lord, you have provided connections that set a safe guard around all of me, inside and out. Connection to You above all else. Lord Jesus, thank you for this sweet and powerful connection! Thank you for salvation! Thank you for prayer! How greatly I cling to our conversations day by day, moment by moment.

Father God, build connections within our lives that lead to Truth. How hard this is, for what is truth? Lord, we know YOU are TRUTH, but in the world around us truth is uncertain. I pray you will stir within our hearts when true facts are presented before us. Cause us to walk away from falsehoods. Lead us in the way of right thinking and set our feet on your solid foundation. Discernment, Lord! For this I pray!!

Holy Spirit, weave us within a tapestry of family focused beauty! That our ears, eyes, thoughts and steps will be encompassed by a great cloud of witnesses. That we will be filled with words of encouragement and strength founded upon Jesus Christ! That we will be surety for one another. And that through our connection to you and to one another we may share Truth to the hungry world around us.

Connect us, Sweet Savior, within the safety of Your love.

Amen
