4 Areas of Freedom

With the Fourth of July around the corner, I have a few answers to simple freedom questions many of us are facing. Perhaps this will be annoying. Perhaps it will be enlightening. Hopefully, it will increase your personal level of freedom.

With that said, here are a few links that will lead to Four Areas of Freedom.

Search Engine

In case you are unaware, Google has a monopoly on our society. It alters definitions of our American words, it rewords our American history, and it stands for false ideology. I switched from Google when my son was in 3rd grade. He had a project due. He was required to only use Google and/or Wikipedia. We researched the patriotic words he was required to research all to find out the definitions were unlike anything I had ever heard. They were embarrassing to our Forefathers, our Constitution and to our freedom.

I discovered that day that I had choices. We have been using Duck Duck Go ever since.

Social Media

I am struggling with this one. I think many of us are. Yet, many of us “need” social media for our platforms, family connections, and overall contact with friends. Presently, I have/use Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn.

Many of these platforms have sided with political agendas that I simply do not agree with, nor do they have the right to push their agenda on me or to silence me … unless I allow them that right. It is my choice, ultimately. They can only push and silence if I remain.

Many of you know that my prayer posts have been stifled and labeled as “unsafe” for the Facebook community. Since that happened, I have done these things,

  • Hid Pinterest’s presence from my websites “share” options until they return to their pink button rather then their new black button. I do not wish to promote their chosen path.
  • Disabled my Twitter account.
  • Joined Parler (presently the #1 in the Apple app store as of today)
  • Joined AllSocial as a possible Instagram replacement. I like that I can share a clickable link on my posts. I really like that!
  • Praying sincerely about pulling both my business and personal pages from Facebook.

Education

I love learning. I love homework. I love truth. Nerd much? Sure thing. 🙂

What I am grateful for is the choice I have as an adult as to where and how I further my personal education. I choose to read and attend free online classes through Hillsdale College. I started with their Constitution 101 course about 15 years ago. Each year they have offered more and more classes. For free! It’s astounding.

As a previous middle school homeschool mom, I have also utilized their free academy curriculum guide. Teaching middle school to my son was easy and painless as I followed their suggested guidelines. For free!

Speaking of our child’s education, be aware. Yesterday our nation’s school system made public that they will be implementing an ideology our universities have been using for quite some time. I encourage you to research NEA.org to see what our nation’s school district stands for and what they are doing to equip our children Today.

Truth

As we all proclaim, truth is what we stand on. Know truth, walk in its way and live a life upon it. What is the very foundation of truth? The answer is found in the name, power, blood, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

I chose to believe and follow Jesus as a young girl. He has never failed me. Truth remains. Despite all things, truth remains as a solid rock on which we stand, build, choose, fight and pray!

My prayer is that one or more of these links will lead to a specific freedom from the surrounding heartache we are facing in our society. We have options. Research your options and then choose to pursue freedom. We have the right to choose to say yes, to say no, to turn off, click off, sign up or delete. We have the choice to watch and listen or to go outside and breath. We have choices. We have the right to pray and to fast, to smile and to sing. We have choices. We have the right to live. To live a life in which we are free. We have choices.

Your Friend,

Jaclyn
