Lord, I have about ten minutes to sit here with You before running off to do holy things. Ha. Ironic how I am speeding through time with You before going to do things for You. I suppose this is backward.
Will You spread this ten minutes to feel like a full banquet at Your table. Fill this time with abundance of wisdom and peace and understanding.
Calm, I pray, the matters on my heart.
Sit with me in this brief picture of unity between my spirit and Yours.
Lord, I breathe in Your presence.
Lord, I rest in Your solitude.

How quickly You settle time and pressure to go and do.
How easily You turn my face to Yours.
How sweetly You speak my name in my ears.
How greatly I love You, my Lord Jesus.

Father, I pray -right quick before jetting off- that you will be with those who lead. Father there are a multitude of leaders spread far and away among Your nations. From political leaders to business leaders to spiritual leaders to teachers to moms to my prayer sisters and I. Lord, to lead is a natural plan in humanity. I pray You will fill us today with your Word. Help us to use Your Scripture as our very function today. And I pray we will lift up and encourage those who lead us. Stir our hearts to pray for them the way You, Lord God, pray for us. (John 17)
Yes, Lord, how greatly we love You!
