How to Give the Gift of Negative Perspective

I’m thinking we ought to consider giving our negative perspective as a wrapped-up Christmas gift this year!

Imagine dumping our negative perspective on paper, wrapping it up in a beautiful box, and gifting it to some other soul to deal with. So very freeing for us, right?! Yet, Perfectly devastating for that sad chap!

But Jesus.

Is he not the only one who would love this present?

Oh, how he would love it! He would cherish it, actually. Then, he would turn it all around and, bit by bit, give it back to you. Washed, purified, renewed.

Whether the negative perspective is a personal condemnation of ourselves (gracious! we do this, don’t we?!) or a casting of judgment upon others, let’s determine to write it down, wrap it up, and give it to the One who desires it the most.

And that’s it. That is all I have for you this Friday. 🙂

BELOW, however, are little snippets of truth that may help you after you “Write down & Wrap up” your negative perspective.

These simple truths are worthy of our time, our thoughts, our ponder, our pausing and breathing them in…

Know Jesus Christ.

~ He is the Son of God

~ The creator of the world

~ The Christ child

~ The son of Mary.

~ He is the miracle worker

~ The truth teller

~ The Pharisee condemner

~ The compassionate healer and forgiver.

~ He is the Lamb of God

~ The final sacrifice

~ The giver of the salvation gift to all mankind.

~ He is the way.

~ He is the Truth.

~ And He is the Life.

~ He is the door to eternity

~ The light on our way.

~ He is Jesus the Christ.

~ The risen Son of God.

~ The same yesterday.

~ The same today.

~ And the same forever.

Love Jesus Christ.

Evidence of the absence of negativity will produce a deeper love {your love} for Jesus.

~ Your love for Jesus will not be out of order or law but out of awe.

~ Your love will produce fruits that the world will know of His evidential presence.

~ Your love will not be a mere display of your works.

~ Your love will proclaim who you are, rather than what you do or do not do.

~ Your love is His Love. His love is in you so desperately that it will seep from your core each time you speak, smile, walk, talk, work, relax, eat, drink, go to bed in darkness, and rise in the sunlight.

~ Your love will begin overshadowing those negative perspectives.

~ Your love for His love will become the very definition of who you are.

~ Your Love for Jesus and His Light will only grow brighter and brighter as you love Him day by day.

May Christmas Day be brightened by the gift of our negative perspective and by the presence of the Light of Jesus Christ and His love in you!

Merry Christmas!!

The light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God. John 3:19 & 21

  1. Such a concept we don’t often consider, and who else better to give our ALL (even our negatives) than to the one who can take it and use all things for good? Thank you for this and for that list of TRUTHS to ponder over and over again on how GREAT He is and HIS love for us! It’s like being wrapped up in a bow of His love:)

    1. I love that final expression! “Wrapped up in a bow” … How beautifully He makes us -inside and out- with His love!!
      Thanks, Jenn ♥️
