Friday Prayer Advice

Hi 🙂 I have one sweet Friday Prayer Advice for you. I pray it resonates with your thought cycle. I pray this Friday Prayer Advice will draw you closer to God as Your Friend, open your eyes to strangers, and help your internal judgment of others to settle to a lower degree.

If you are the one that struggles with what to pray or how to pray, then put this advice to practice.

Pray while you drive.

~ Get in your car.

~ Keep your eyes on the road.

~ Ten and two. 🙂

~ And then be aware.

Be aware of that kid walking to school. Pray for that kid. Don’t worry about what you should say in prayer. If a thought of protection over that child crosses through your mind, then pray for protection over that child.

Be aware of the older gentleman on his bike. Pray for that older gentleman. If a thought of his relationship with his children and grandchildren crosses your mind, then pray for his relationship with his family to bond.

Be aware of the human that is living this day the best way they know how. If a thought of salvation crosses your mind, then pray for someone to enter their day that will boldly plant a seed of salvation in their life. Pray that someone will sweetly water that seed. Pray for salvation to occur in the life of that human who just happens to be in your viewpoint this day.

People that we pass could be passing in happenstance. But, people often enter our viewpoint because the Holy Spirit desires for you to pray for them.

~ Prayer builds power.

~ Power performs miracles.

~ Miracles happen.

You may never know what came from that thought (Spirit) led prayer over a stranger.

However . . .

You will grow closer to God Almighty as your Friend. Prayer will become more of a conversation. And conversation with Your Friend is sweet!

You will become more aware of people. You will begin seeing them as individuals and not as scenery.

You will form an initial reaction to pray Spirit-led prayers for others in place of your initial reaction to judge their style of clothing, choice of transportation, lifestyle, appearance, walk, and whatever else our internal piety conjures up.

I know we don’t mean to judge, but we do.

This Friday Prayer Advice is a precious way to kick the flesh to the curb and let the Spirit win.

Pray while you drive.
