Focus. Focus. Focus.

Father, my focus! Ohmygoodness!!

Yesterday, I read a most beautiful passage. A passage that declared the vitality of focus. It stated the fleeting of life, the toil and trouble of years, and the importance to number our days.

Today, oh Lord, I do not want to number, not yet. Today, I function like a snail and focus like a sloth. Not a solid combination.

Father, I do not ask that you kick my body into motion, for that is why you have created me with a body and a brain and have given me the Spirit of self-control. However! ๐Ÿ™‚ I do ask, after I rise from my time with you, that you will slow my clock and bless my diligence with wisdom and fruitfulness.

Yes, Lord, this is what I humbly ask of you.

Clarity is already settling in my head. Motivation is seeping through my lazy bones. Father, thank you for gifting me with this day. Forgive me for playing “squirrel” this morning. And thank you for going before me as I do what you have set for me to do.

God, I love you. Thank you for sweetly loving me as I Evereve, Poshmark, and text my morning away… ๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom. ~ Psalm 90:12

***Lol! Two squirrels just came up to my front window, and my dog went nuts!! Today, I fear, has gone to the squirrels!!! Ohmygoodness.
