They are personal and real. Take them as your own. Pray them in your own way. Or read them and know that you are not alone.

Oh, Lord, how miraculous is your Name! The power that stands in the mere whisper of your name silences the sound of the rolling thunder!

How beautiful is the work of your hand! Lord, so much of your creation sings your praise, but nothing quite so lovely as the beauty of your Daughters!

I pray a bundle full of Your Blessings to be poured out over your daughters who choose to love one another as Sisters! To those who laugh with those who laugh and to those who cry with those who cry!

Lord, I love you and I thank you for your sweet, beautiful gift called Sisters!

Oh, Father, how hard it is to sit in a day of perpetual waiting. My heart sits in silence as its very beat races contrary to itself from emotions to desires, truths to possibilities, and back again to dreams. Time of various intravols pass on this continuous ride called Wait.

God, through the rain you are here. Holding me in your arms, whispering my name, cherishing my tears, and reminding me that I am your daughter. Oh, how my heart settles in your arms. Father, I am your daughter, for that, in my wait, I smile and whisper a Thank You to you for being You!

Prayer for the Lonely Heart

Dear Heavenly Father,

Lord, may I take this moment to pray for the heart of the one feeling unloved this evening? I pray You will whisper Your name upon her heart this very moment. Cause her to be aware of Your Presence in her life. Lord, she is strong and capable to be the woman you have designed her to be.

I pray the enemy of loneliness off her.

I pray the spirit of self-pity to be removed from her.

I pray, rather, the awakening of YOU will envelope her.

Oh, Lord, You are with her; therefore, she is never alone! You are in her; therefore, there is no room for internal dialogue reflecting lies from the past. For You, O Lord, are a shield and a shelter for all who call upon Your name.

And there, Father, is where my prayer leads, that she will call upon your name for your love. That she will stand in your embrace. That she will see herself as the daughter of the King!
